The Confederation of Asian and Pacific Accountants (CAPA) stands as the exemplary representative of

CAPA has grown to include a prestigious membership of 32 accounting organizations spanning 23
jurisdictions.
As the largest regional accounting organization, CAPA's influence traverses half the globe, fostering unity
and collaboration among diverse cultures. With its unwavering commitment to promoting professional
excellence, CAPA creates an environment of shared knowledge and mutual growth, transcending
borders and enriching the accounting landscape.

South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA)
SAFA, as a distinguished forum of professional accountancy bodies, remains steadfast in its commitment
to bolster, uphold, and advance the accountancy profession within the SAARC Region. With an
unwavering focus on ensuring its sustained eminence in the global realm of accountancy, SAFA tirelessly
works in the public interest, fostering broad economic development across the region.
At present, SAFA proudly brings together 12 esteemed accounting bodies, collectively representing a
staggering cohort of over 375,000 accomplished professional accountants. Together, they form a
formidable force, driving progress and excellence in the field of accountancy.
IFRS Foundation
IFRS Foundation is an esteemed not-for-profit, public interest organization dedicated to crafting top-tier,
comprehensible, enforceable, and universally recognized accounting and sustainability disclosure
standards. These Standards are meticulously formulated by two distinguished standard-setting boards,
namely the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) and the International Sustainability
Standards Board (ISSB). Together, they champion the adoption of International Financial Reporting
Standards and emphasize value creation as the progressive path in the advancement of financial
reporting.
International Corporate Governance Network (ICGN)
ICMA International has achieved a significant milestone by becoming the first Professional Accountancy
Organisation (PAO) in Pakistan to join the esteemed ranks of the 'International Corporate Governance
Network (ICGN)'. The mission of the International Corporate Governance Network is to champion
effective standards of corporate governance and investor stewardship, thereby fostering efficient
markets and sustainable economies on a global scale. This noble objective is accomplished through the
implementation of the ICGN Global Governance Principles.

United Nations Women’s Empowerment Principles WEPs
ICMA is delighted to announce its commitment as a signatory to the United Nation’s Women's Empowerment Principles (WEPs). ICMA is the first & the only member of IFAC in Pakistan which has become a signatory to the platform.
