Foreword
It is a matter of much pleasure for me to present my message for
publication in the 7th issue of ‘Future CMAs’ – the official students’
magazine of ICMA Pakistan.
At the outset, let me congratulate the Research and Publications
Committee for achieving yet another milestone of completing one
year of publication of the magazine by issuing the anniversary issue
in December last year. My appreciation goes to all the students who
contributed articles and other write-ups to make it possible and
the Coordinators and members of the Students Publication Society
(SPS) for their time and efforts. I hope that they would continue to
work with the same zeal.
I believe that through the issuance of ‘Future CMAs’ the Research and Publications Committee
is making a great effort towards nurturing the writing skills of students and this would
definitely help them in their professional careers. The contribution of articles and write-ups
on diversified subjects on a continuous basis is a testimony to the fact that the students have
now taken up the ownership of the magazine. The magazine, in fact, has come of its infancy
and now well driven by students themselves under the guidance of the Students Publications
Society and the R&P Committee.
I assure all the students that the Institute would continue to ensure continuous availability
of resources, what so ever, for the development of their career as professionals, the very
purpose of establishment of the institute.
To conclude, I must say that making the ‘Future CMAs’ a real professional student magazine
depends solely upon your pouring in quality and informative articles well in time so that
any information or news may not be considered outdated. So, I would advise the students to
keep themselves abreast with the current developments by reading daily newspapers and
periodicals on a regular basis. This would help them keep pace with the rapidly changing
professional world.
